Christmas at my house included me puppy sitting. So I got out my camera and tried to take some artsy pictures of the puppy. Keep in mind, she is a 2 year old Jack Russell Terrier who would NOT sit still, ever. I'm lucky of the pictures I did get of her.

Originally taken on my Pentax black and white camera with 35mm film. Scanned into my computer and then edited in Adobe Photoshop to correct the contrast balance.

So, I went away about a month ago. I went to a Parrothead festival at a ski resort in Maine. And I took my camera with me. It was a lot of fun, and I snapped a couple hundred pictures. I think these are the best.

So, we had an ice storm. And, it was so beautiful. To me, it looked like that the trees were literally made of glass. No leaves, no nothing, the trees were just coated.

I tried to name them. I just... I am kind of stumped.

Ok, after talking to holdlifestill, I wanted to post the rest of my sea world pictures. Like she said, photography is all about picking your best work, and I think the other post has my 'best' sea world pictures. That said, she loves the animals, and I want to share the rest of my pictures for her, and others, to see. BUT, I don't feel like these are my best pictures, so they're not photography, not to me. Just pics to share. If that makes sense.

I was inspired am blatantly stealing an idea from by holdlifestill. She has the most beautiful photography I have ever seen. That, plus the fact that I am in love with my photography class, has led me to want to post some of my photos for others to view and critique. These aren't my photography class pictures. those are black and white, 35mm that I have to scan, after the teacher gives them back to me. These are with my digital slr. Be gentle...
